this book, I feel very surprise. This is a book of before almost 2000 years, people’s  thinking and nature. I want to ask how many people have his thinking now. 2000 years was gone, human do not get better, stand still, even go down. it is human’s greed, brutality and war destroy human’s civilization . 

During 2000 years, why do not have someone expand his thinking?

in my mind, at that time, people like animals of now’s African savanna. killing, brutality, the winner take it all. such as Macbeth, King lear, this kinds of killing. Jerusalem’s killing.

why do not have someone expand his thinking through certain form?

in my mind, now western culture is mainly from religions and democracy system . 
because i can hear most is religion. before democracy system, it had scaffold and tore down people’s bodies. it’s not far time。

Meditations, it is the most value book from my opinion. if the western culture is from the book, the power and range of expansion are not enough. 

The different religions can also make war. every religion and every one should think about people’s life first. we all are people.
the culture shake actually is from different society system mainly.

2000 years passed. The living people need to shame on it . the dead people don’t know how to shame.

In literature field, Shakespeare is most well-known writer. So, his works usually were put a high value place by people. I touched his first work was Hamlet.I gave him very high valuation. But, it seems that he did not write it which was before story, just edited it, not creative.

       good literature authors and works should affect society and people deeply. From my eye, Shakespeare has a very good control ability to his words, language and scenes.His lines are difficult to control. it likes “You are as noble as gold, as innocent as white snow, your heart like sun to warm me!”. He has high control ability to these. From his works itself, there are effect, not very high. Hamlet, I feel that if he know what he write, or different with my thinking. It likes his four tragic novels, people are easy to remember it, cruel, blood and extreme. but, it is abstract or dim on affecting society.

       Dickens and Hugo, some European literature, have romantic skills in them, I guess that it was affected by Shakespeare.

       Wuthering Heights, I feel that it has clear thinking, I guess she known what she wrote from his words. that is not love novel. (Jane rye and pride and prejudice ,I feel that there are no more valuation.) It has falsely ghost things in it. the story is true? it is very less true. the author, Emily just lived for 30 years old, could write this novel, strange.she can get higher valuation than Shakespeare from me.

       Hugo’s Les Miserables. I guess it’s good. I just watched the movie, not read the book. But, Dickens’A Tale of two cities  did not agree Hugo.

       Mark Twain,Huckleberry Finn, there was the race description. if it was written before the Civil war, he should be the pioneer who guide the Civil War.But, it was soon after the war,  at that time, actually need the book. now, do not need it.
